Our purpose-built testing machine can accommodate test pieces up to two metres long. Tensile testing is carried out to 50 tonnes which may be proof testing or testing to destruction. During the test, load and displacement or load against time can be monitored. Tensile cyclic testing can also be carried out. The test machine can be adapted to test single-loaded beams.
Proof testing to 50 tonne compressive loading is available for smaller components.
Lloyds Beal Site Services carry a significant stock of dead weights which can be used on site to proof test fixed equipment. These weights are also available for hire at competitive rates.
Test certificates are included in the test price. Full reports are available at additional cost.
